Divine and familiar; these are the two key words to explain the origin of Urban Icon. The divine descends from its pedestal and is almost vandalized and deconsecrated, while the concept of familiar or better to say family, is expressed for the first time by Morb, over who shows his northern European origins on canvas.

It symbolizes a moment of change and rebirth. It’s done by repainting a previous work and placing a symbol in its place; as it happens in the streets where graffiti are covered to make space for new ones.
