Hope Crisis

Series

Hope Crisis Series and is the materialization of the human belief, in the form of a votive figure; made of wax and bearer of questions and deep meanings. They appear disturbing because they raise issues related to environmental pollution (smog, plastic in the oceans, garbage, water pollution, building abuse..these to name a few). By positioning them in former abandoned or ruined places of worship, the artist intends not only to raise awareness on these important themes, but also to restore a sort of cosmic balance: as for these places there is a possibility of redemption, also for man there is hope for a better future.
